Your Responsibilities
The Fleet Director holds overall responsibility for the operational and strategic management of the company division. Key objectives include:
- Implementing the strategic direction and achieving targets as defined in the Annual Operating Plan (AOP)
- Ensuring compliance with all relevant national and international regulations and certifications (e.g. ISO 9001/14001)
- Efficient and high-quality management of the assigned vessels and teams including continuous improvement of processes and customer satisfaction
- Building maintaining and developing sustainable customer relationships
- Overseeing and managing daily business operations
- Leading and developing teams
- Ensuring company certification and compliance
- Promoting quality and process optimisation
- Representing the company to clients partners and service providers
Your profile
- Degree in a technical or business discipline
- At least 10 years of leadership experience in the maritime sector including technical ship management with a solid understanding of third-party ship management requirements
- Proven leadership and people management capability in complex operational environments
- High self-motivation and clear result orientation
- Excellent communication persuasion and presentation skills
- Innovative spirit willingness to embrace change and hands-on mentality
- Strong customer focus and service mindset
- Strategic perspective with the ability to make decisions under pressure
- Inspiring teams and driving change visible and present as a leader
