Job Summary
As a Data Scientist II at Honeywell Technology solutions in the life sciences domain you will play a pivotal role in leveraging data and cutting-edge Generative AI techniques to drive insights develop innovative models and accelerate digital transformation. You will work on building advance OCR/CV /GenAI based models and deliver end-to-end data and model pipelines with a special emphasis on deploying Generative AI solutions. Your expertise in cloud platforms (AWS Azure) and ML Ops will be crucial for optimizing and scaling these advanced models. This is an exciting opportunity to shape the future of intelligent building systems using the latest advancements in AI.
You will report directly to our Sr Manager software Engineering and work out of our Bangalore India location on a hybrid schedule.
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- Work on develop and implement sophisticated data science models with a particular emphasis on Generative AI (GenAI) Computer vision covering applications in text image and data synthesis for system development.
- Support the creation and maintenance of data and model pipelines ensuring data integrity and helping with GenAI model deployment under supervision.
- Employ cloud platforms such as AWS Azure to utilize scalable computing resources for Generative AI workloads.
- Having experience of productionizing the AI/ML/GenAI based solution on Prem and on cloud.
- Optimize and deploy machine learning and GenAI models in accordance with established ML Ops best practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to help integrate Generative AI solutions into existing systems and workflows contributing to project goals and learning from team interactions.
Qualifications
You Must Have
- A bachelors degree in Artificial intelligence Data science computer science statistics mathematics or a closely related field is required.
- Preferably with masters degree or PhD in data science or advanced artificial intelligence is considered an asset.
- 3+ years of experience building solutions using ML DL OCR/CV GenAI based models.
- Good experience in developing E2E solutions of building and deploying AI/ML models/Computer Vision models/GenAI models
- Experience in CI/CD pipelines and MLOps frameworks especially for GenAI model deployment.
- Excellent communication skills to convey complex GenAI concepts to stakeholders.
- Good proficiency in programming languages such as Python and SQL.
- Experience of Lifesciences domain is good to have
- Proficiency in cloud platforms AWS Azure
We Value
- Good proficiency in Generative AI CV/ML/DL/NLP and related programming languages.
- Experience in the life sciences domain especially manufacturing is a plus.
- Hands-on experience with GenAI and Computer vision models knowledge graph technologies.
- Strong leadership and management skills.
- Experience working in agile development environments.
- Proven ability to drive successful GenAI and data science projects.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced dynamic environment.
