We are hiring for a Forklift Operator to join our growing team! This position is eligible for a quarterly production & monthly Attendance bonuses!

The Forklift Operator is responsible for coordinating organizing and inventory management of raw materials and finished goods.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Demonstrate personal safety and help maintain a safe work environment for themselves and fellow members of the Midtown team. Responsible for following all company safety rules and guidelines.
Ensure quality standards and workmanship standards for Sellars products are met on a continuing basis.
Understand and fully comply with the Sellars concept of move to the work. This means ensuring all tasks required to operate efficiently.
Promote and support the Good Warehouse Management Practices.
Ensure inventory accuracy of Roll Goods.
Prepare organize and maintain all Logistics paperwork.
Maintain organize and coordinate the movement (using FIFO methods if possible).
Complete and verify all documentation and forms (receipt inventory or shipment related) are accurate.
Keep the warehouse clean organized and efficiently maintained.
Load and unknowledge and Skills Required for trailers trucks and containers in a safe and efficient manner.

Qualifications/Requirements:

Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
Basic understanding of the workings of Sellars Distribution Center.
Basic computer skills
Good communication skills dealing with issues in a positive complete manner.
Good interpersonal and teamwork skills. Demonstrated capability to function within a team setting
Flexibility in work assignments and overtime hours.
Ability to exercise professionalism courtesy and tact in dealing with all members of the Sellars organization and external resources.
Ability to read and interpret all documents used in the Distribution Center.
Positive work attitude.

Education and Experience required:

Prior experience working in a warehouse/Distribution Center is preferred.
Minimum of three years of experience in material handling required.

Physical Demands:

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

Position requires constant walking standing or sitting.
Must be able to get on and off of equipment with ease.
Occasional bending and kneeling.
Must be able to lift and carry of up to 50 pounds.
