The Lead Strategic Communications Specialist is the Voice of OCI. This role manages the complex task of communicating technical and clinical transformations to a disenfranchised or overwhelmed workforce ensuring that the value of the Federal EHR is clearly understood.
Detailed Scope of Work & PWS Alignment:
- Comprehensive Communications Strategy: Develop and maintain an executive-level communications plan. Define key messages themes channels and target audiences for OCI initiatives.
- Multimedia Product Oversight: Oversee the design and delivery of digital print and multimedia products. Ensure all communications reflect the organizations values tone and visual identity.
- Stakeholder Engagement & Change Leadership: Develop strategies for stakeholder engagement including town halls podcasts and office hours. Translate complex technical topics into accessible language.
- Knowledge Repository Management: Manage a centralized knowledge repository to support stakeholder communication and clinical requirement definition.
Qualifications :
Advanced Technical Proficiencies:
- Writing: Mastery of Associated Press (AP) style and narrative storytelling.
- Tools: Expert in MS Office 365 Adobe Creative Cloud and SharePoint.
- Strategy: Deep understanding of change leadership and organizational communication.
Education: Bachelors Degree.
Experience: 10 years total (8 years in senior communications management).
