Job Summary
YOU...
- define and approve grain areas and surface requirements for interior components in line with OEM standards
- perform surface analyses and visual evaluations (grain colour gloss) on parts and vehicles
- organize and lead Grain & Colour Days pre-evaluations and on-site assessments at plants
- coordinate with OEM departments suppliers and process partners
- approve or reject components and manage rework and re-evaluation processes with suppliers
- create and maintain photo documentation acceptance checklists and Grain/Colour control lists
- ensure transparent up-to-date status reporting throughout the project
Qualifications :
YOU...
- fulfill the general V.I.E program requirements
- have a technical degree or vocational training (e.g. Automotive Plastics Mechanical Engineering)
- bring experience in automotive interior components surface quality or supplier quality
- possess strong expertise in Grain & Colour definition and automotive surface evaluation standards
- can read and interpret technical drawings and surface specifications
- have experience working with OEM processes
- communicate fluently in German and English
- demonstrate excellent attention to detail an assertive communication style and high self-organization
- are willing to travel and work on-site in plants and at supplier locations
