A specialist recruitment consultant seeks a Technical Director on behalf of a reputable client. This role is open to someone based in either Gauteng or the Western Cape.
Seeking a highly experienced professionally registered Mechanical Engineer (PR Eng)with deep expertise across HVAC Fire Services and Wet Services design specializing in all 3. This is a senior technical leadership role suited to someone operating at Technical Director level with sound commercial and business development capabilities who would look after international contracts.

- Ability to take technical responsibility for multi-disciplinary building services projects
- Strong design leadership across HVAC Fire and Wet Services (all three are essential)
- Experience mentoring guiding and reviewing design teams
- Ability to produce check and sign off high-level mechanical designs
- Adept at working on EPC/EPCM project environments
- Comfortable with client engagement and technical presentations
- Competence in generalist building services work with the ability to integrate with electrical teams when required but mostly mechanical
- Strong overall understanding of building regulations standards and compliance
- Experience in commercial building services design including complex systems integration
Job Experience & Skills Required (Ideal Candidate Profile):
- Professional Registration: PR Eng (Mechanical Engineering)
- 1520 years of Mechanical Engineering experience within Building Services
- Specialist-level capability in HVAC Design complex commercial and largescale environments
- Advanced technical proficiency in:
- Fire Engineering Design
- Wet Services Design
