The University of Wollongong (UOW) is seeking an experienced and future focused senior leader to drive institution-wide curriculum innovation assessment reform and learning and teaching transformation. This role is pivotal to advancing UOWs strategic educational priorities by shaping highquality inclusive technologyenhanced and futureready curriculum across all disciplines and modes.
As the Manager Learning Design and Curriculum Transformation you will provide strategic and operational leadership to a multidisciplinary team of Educational Designers and Career Development Learning Design Specialists. You will guide the design renewal evaluation and assurance of programs and initiatives that enable educational excellence and high-quality learning experiences and environments across the university.
Working in close partnership with senior academic and professional leaders you will lead major curriculum transformation initiatives aligned with UOW strategy regulatory requirements and sector best practice. You will also drive capabilitybuilding across the university by developing and delivering professional learning resources and frameworks that enable staff to adopt contemporary pedagogy technologyenhanced learning approaches and futurefocused assessment design.
This role has a strong focus on governance quality assurance and continuous improvement leveraging data evidence and emerging trends to inform decision-making and improve institutional outcomes.
This is a highimpact leadership role requiring strong strategic insight deep expertise in curriculum and assessment design experience leading digital and pedagogical transformation and the ability to influence and collaborate across complex organisational environments.
The successful candidate will have a postgraduate qualification (or equivalent experience) and extensive senior-level experience leading curriculum design and learning and teaching transformation in higher education with strong expertise in contemporary pedagogy assessment reform inclusive practice and proven strategic leadership and stakeholder engagement skills.
