Lead problem solving activities in assigned areas.
- Analyze Not Right First Time (NRFT) issues and assist engineering with solutions.
- Lead training activities with production personal during runoffs and new equipment launch phase and training of new hires.
- Can perform all quality checks and machine calibrations within assigned areas.
- Assist TEF personal with troubleshooting issues within assigned areas and train if needed.
- Work with TEF personal when PMs are being performed within assigned areas when applicable.
- Assist operations & engineering during equipment runoffs.
- Have a strong working relationship with Operations Engineering Quality & Maintenance (TEF).
- Analyze and organize data in a way that Engineering Quality & Management can make sound business decisions.
- Support engineering in supplier developments and continuous improvement of products supplied.
- Develop engineering skills where required.
- Support Engineering in investigating new and upgraded technologies.
- Participate in customer & supplier visits.
- Participate in supplier technical discussions.
- Provide production lines with technical support.
- Support production PPAPs GR&Rs & Capabilities studies related to Quality.
- Support New Developments with technical expertise and set up methods.
- Understands that there may be times when Process Tech is needed to be an operator Set-up Person or assist Maintenance with PMTechnical assistance.
- Supervise daily activities and projects for areas assigned to you.
- Assist engineering with creation of all types of Work Instructions.
- Employees are responsible for communicating to Management when there are issue affecting the Environment Health Safety or Quality to his / her respective Manager
Qualifications :
Qualification and Skills
Essential: 5 years of Manufacturing experience 2 within CSB department.
Desirable: Currently in a Lead Floating position or set up role
Specific Functional Competencies Knowledge and Skills Required:
- Minimum of 5 years in manufacturing shop floor team lead Floater or set up experience preferred
- Can proactively identify problems with Not Right First Time and implement solutions
- Can identify mechanical issues and assist TEF with solutions and any training needed to TEF.
- Strong communication skills and organizational skills
- Able to work a flexible schedule in support of business objectives.
- Ability to establish a strong working relationship within CSB department and demonstrate credibility and trustworthiness.
- Willing to travel when needed for machine runoffs or training. Passport and international travel required.
