Centurion is proud to be the provider ofcomprehensive services to the Illinois Department of Corrections.We are currently seeking aFull-time Night Traveling Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)to join our Centurion Eagles Travel Team at LawrenceCorrectional Centerlocated in Sumner Illinois.Our travelers have opportunities throughout the country and are full-time benefit-eligible Centurion employees.

TheLicensed Practical Nurse (LPN)is responsible for providing holistic nursing care within the appropriate scope of practice to incarcerated patients while working under the direction of Registered Nurses (RN) and medical and psychiatric staff to respond to a range of physical and behavioral health needs.

Qualifications

Licensed LPN with an active license to practice in Illinois
Must live within 90 miles from correctional facility.
Minimum of one year of work experience as an LPN in a community outpatient clinic hospital correctional facility or long-term care facility preferred
Minimum of one year of travel nursing experience preferred
Must be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)/ BLS
Ability to obtain a security clearance to include drug screen and criminal background check
