Job Overview

We are seeking an experiencedSynon Developerto support healthcare/pharmacy benefit management (PBM) projects. This role will focus onRxCLAIM / claim adjudication enhancement initiatives involving modifications to claim processing logic and integrations with downstream systems. The ideal candidate is a strong independent contributor with deep technical expertise in Synon and RxCLAIM adjudication processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Work onRxCLAIM / claim adjudication enhancement projects including updates to claim processing logic

• Integrate claim processing systems with downstream applications

• Maintain and enhance existing systems usingSYNON/COOL 2Eand related technologies

• Develop new system solutions and perform major enhancements to existing applications

• Document current system flows and business logic

• Troubleshoot complex issues and drive resolutions with minimal guidance

• Ensure timely delivery of assigned tasks and project milestones

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong SYNON / COOL 2E development experience(mandatory)

• Proven expertise in RxCLAIM adjudication processes(mandatory)

• Experience withHealthcare PBM applications

• Hands-on experience withBenefit Plan configuration and Core Adjudicationin RxCLAIM

• 35 years of experiencewith the following technologies:

  • SYNON / COOL 2E

  • COBOL/400

  • CL/400

  • CLLE

  • DB2/400

• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills

• Ability to code independently with minimal supervision

Additional Requirements

• Participate in internal and external meetings via video conferencing as needed

• Ability to work onsite at corporate or client locations if required

• Prolonged periods of working at a desk and using a computer

• Ability to perform basic physical activities (bending kneeling reaching lifting up to 25 lbs. if required for travel/events)

• Valid drivers license may be required for roles involving travel or events
