Schedule: 3 12-hour shifts
Job Overview
A acute care facilityis seeking an experienced Med/Surg Tele Travel RN to join their clinical team. The ideal candidate will have strong telemetry IV and phlebotomy skills and the ability to deliver safe patient-centered care in a fast-paced hospital environment.
Responsibilities
Provide high-quality nursing care utilizing the nursing process
Monitor patients on telemetry and promptly respond to changes in condition or emergencies
Perform IV insertion and phlebotomy independently
Administer medications safely and document accurately per facility policy
Educate patients and families regarding care plans treatments and discharge instructions
Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to achieve optimal patient outcomes
Required Qualifications
Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg Tele RN experience
Active Massachusetts RN license
BLS certification (AHA)
Ability to perform own IV starts and phlebotomy
Strong clinical judgment communication and teamwork skills
Preferred Qualifications
Prior travel nursing experience
Experience working in a telemetry-focused inpatient unit
