Laboratory Technician

Skretting AI is seeking one Laboratory Technicians for temporary assignments until 31 August 2027 to join our laboratory team in Stavanger Norway.

In this role you will collaborate with skilled laboratory technicians and specialists analyzing a variety of samples to deliver precise and reliable results.

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a team dedicated to quality and continuous improvement working in a lab environment that adheres to the highest industry standards.

Your Responsibilities:

• Perform sample analyses following established procedures.

• Operate and perform minor troubleshooting of analytical instruments.

• Approve analytical data and manage results using the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS).

• Identify and report non-conformities and suggest improvements to ensure compliance with ISO 17025:2017 standards.

• Support the team with daily laboratory tasks.

What Were Looking for:

Qualifications:

• Minimum a certificate of vocational training in laboratory work (laboratory certificate).

• Prior experience in laboratory settings is an advantage but not a requirement.

• Solid technical and computer skills to manage laboratory instruments data analysis and reporting efficiently

Personal qualifications:

• Effective communicator fluent in both Norwegian and English.

• Proactive self-motivated and eager to take initiative.

• Strong analytical mindset with problem-solving skills.

• Systematic in your approach to work.
