Centurion is proud to be the provider of comprehensive healthcare servicesto theIndiana Department of Correction.

We are currently seeking afull-time Qualified Medication Aideto join our team at Westville Correctional Facilitylocated in Westville Indiana.

The Qualified Medication Aide works under the direction of a Registered Nurse and/or other medical staff and is responsible for assisting nurses by following written and/or oral instructions to administer medications and document drug dosages and times of administration. The QMA takes vital signs assists in examinations and treatments and assists patients with activities of daily living. The QMA must monitor patients to report changes in their conditions.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED equivalent required
Graduation from a Qualified Medication Aide (QMA) training program required
QMA certification required
Must be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
One (1) year of experience in acute care long-term care emergency or correctional setting preferred
Ability to obtain a security clearance to include drug screen and criminal background check

Available Shifts:

Full-time Nights6pm-6:30am three shifts per week every other weekend
Full-time Days 6am-6:30pm three shifts per week every other weekend
