Sales & Business Development Manager

Reporting to: Engineering Director with dotted line to Managing Director Rieckermann Vietnam Ltd

Job Purpose: Developing executing and evaluating project plans and progress; Leading Regional Business and Sales Development Participating in Engineering Compliance & Validation projects Compliance and Validation consulting Translation and Customer Relationship Management.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Sales and business development follow up on market project leads in cooperation with business units and implement sales acquisition plan for EO in Vietnam.
• Identifying new project opportunities for Rieckermann
• Assisting in the joint sales and marketing of Engineering/Machinery services/products
• Supporting business development activities in collaboration with Consulting on validation and quality tasks across projects
• Management and coordination of project works
• Planning and implementing project works and testing schedules
• Determine project responsibilities by identifying project phases and elements; assigning personnel to phases and elements; reviewing bids from contractors
• Resolve technical project issues during execution
• Management of scope and variations
• Determining project schedules by studying project plans and specifications; calculating time requirements; sequencing project elements
• Maintaining project schedule by monitoring project progress; coordinating activities; resolving problems
• Preparing project status reports by collecting analyzing and summarizing information and trends; recommending actions
• Set up and maintenance of commissioning files
• Co-ordinating project activities and communications between customer and EO
• Managing and coordinating all sub-contractor activity on project site
• Managing claims and variation orders ensuring enough justification is provided for customer approval
• Completion of commissioning and validation activities
• Generation and execution of validation documents and records
• Generation of project documentation as required
• Translation support services from local language to English and vice versa
• Maintenance of project files
• Resolving validation GMP and quality issues
• Specialised consulting to clients including providing consultation for engineering GMP quality and validation activities

• Any other adhoc task that may be required to complete project engineering validation and quality requirements

Requirements:

• Bachelor Degree in Science or Engineering or at least 10 years in technical roles within life-science field
• Sales of engineering and consulting services within the life sciences
• 10 Years Industry Experience in the pharmaceutical or related healthcare sectors
• Confident leadership and strong interpersonal skills
• Proficient in local and English languages
• Knowledge of international guidelines and regulations as applicable to the life science industry
• Strong technical experience in engineering quality system development and validation execution
• Able to identify customer requirements and interpret into practical solutions
• Able to plan and coordinate projects for pharma biomedical and med device manufacturing facilities.
• Strong communication and data processing skills
• Efficient professional and reliable
• Advanced use of MS Office suite of products
• Self-motivated to maintain currency in GMP compliance
