We are searching for the best talent for Professional and Commercial Development Manager.
You will be responsible for:
Develop and deliver professional education programs for ECPs focusing on contact lens science fitting best practices innovation updates and category knowledge.
Lead professional training for new product launches (e.g. Abiliti O1D MAX family) to ensure strong clinical adoption and confidence among HCPs.
Partner with Marketing to design clinically sound messaging and ensure accuracy of educational materials.
Build strong partnerships with key opinion leaders (KOLs) professional societies and academic institutions to expand J&Js professional footprint.
Organize and facilitate workshops seminars webinars and scientific events in a compliant manner.
Collaborate with Regional and Global PD teams to localize training content based on Taiwan market needs.
Support the development and execution of professional strategies in alignment with business priorities.
Design and implement structured sales capability programs for the sales organization and distributors including: Product training Selling skills Category education Objection handling In-store execution fundamentals
Provide ongoing field coaching to improve salesforce competencies and reinforce key behaviors.
Conduct needs assessments and capability gap analysis to prioritize training roadmap.
Work with Sales Head to build an annual Commercial Capability Plan with clear KPIs and competency targets.
Facilitate onboarding programs for new sales hires to ensure fast ramp-up.
Support distributor training programs to ensure consistent knowledge messaging and execution capability across all partners.
Collaborate with Marketing to ensure training aligns with brand strategy and commercial priorities.
Ensure all PD and training activities comply with HCC and ANA requirements.
Work closely with Sales Marketing Regulatory and HCC to ensure aligned execution.
Contribute to business planning including capability building insights and professional development strategy recommendations.
Provide input to Marketing and Sales on clinical and commercial insights from the field.
Bachelors degree in Optometry Life Sciences Business or a related field.
Minimum 58 years of experience in professional education sales training commercial development or related rolespreferably within healthcare medical devices or FMCG.
Strong presentation facilitation and communication skills.
Experience delivering training programs and coaching individuals/teams.
Ability to work cross-functionally and manage multiple stakeholders.
Strong project management and planning capabilities.
Fluent in English and Mandarin.
Background in eye care optometry or contact lens industry.
Field coaching experience with sales teams or distributors.
Experience working in multinational organizations with compliance frameworks.
Ability to translate clinical concepts into practical commercial applications.
