Storesperson Engineering & Equipment Sector
Perform Recruitment is currently recruiting an experienced Storesperson on behalf of a well-established company operating within the power washer manufacturing & hire garden equipment heating and workshop supplies sector.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a busy hands-on environment with long-term career prospects.
The Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for the efficient day-to-day operation of the stores ensuring accurate stock control and smooth support to workshop and sales teams.
Key Responsibilities:

Managing goods inwards and outwards
-
Maintaining accurate stock levels using a computerised stores system
-
Picking packing and issuing parts and equipment
-
Liaising with internal departments to ensure timely supply
-
Keeping the store area organised safe and efficient
Requirements
-
Previous experience in a store or warehouse role (engineering mechanical or retail environment an advantage)
-
Experience using a computerised stores system (OPERA experience highly desirable)
-
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail

Ability to work independently and as part of a team
-
Forklift licence is an advantage (but not essential)
