Our client is a leading energy company seeking an experienced Business Analyst to join their team in Palm Beach Gardens FL. This is a 12-month contract opportunity offering Up to $37/hour for a professional with 6-10 years of business analysis experience. The role focuses on operational and financial analysis to support strategic decision-making within a dynamic energy sector environment.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct operational and financial analyses to support informed business decision-making
Lead medium to large special projects from conception to completion
Perform quantitative and qualitative research using advanced analytical techniques
Design and modify business processes to optimize operational efficiency
Develop comprehensive reports and presentations for executive stakeholders
Apply data visualization techniques using Power BI SQL Python and Excel
Utilize databases to derive insights including demand modeling locational analysis and growth modeling
Transform qualitative information into defined quantitative datapoints
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize business performance
Drive projects forward to build enhanced customer data environments

Required Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Business Economics Information Systems or related field
6-10 years of experience in business analysis and market intelligence
Proficiency in Power BI SQL Python and advanced Excel
Experience with business process improvement and optimization
Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
Experience with data modeling and statistical analysis

Contract Details

Contract Duration: 12 months
Rate: Up to $37/hour
Schedule: Standard business hours
Location: Palm Beach Gardens FL (On-site required)
Weekly Hours: 40 hours
