Job Summary
Heavy Duty Diesel Mechanic Justin TX Location
Were seeking an experienced Heavy Duty Diesel Mechanicto join our team in Justin Texas. The ideal candidate will have 3 years of hands-on experience preferably working on diesel-powered refuse (trash) trucks or similar heavy-duty equipment.
Position Overview:
This role is responsible for performing preventative maintenance diagnostics and repairs on heavy-duty refuse trucks and related equipment. The technician will troubleshoot and repair diesel engines hydraulics brakes and electrical systems to ensure all vehicles are safe reliable and compliant with DOT standards.
Schedule:
Monday Friday 2:00 PM 1:00 AM
Starting at $26/HR
Key Responsibilities:
Perform routine inspections maintenance and repairs on heavy-duty diesel trucks.
Diagnose and repair hydraulic brake and electrical systems.
Conduct preventative maintenance to minimize downtime and ensure equipment reliability.
Maintain accurate service records and ensure compliance with DOT and company safety standards.
Collaborate with team members and supervisors to ensure efficient workflow and timely repairs.
Qualifications:
Minimum 3 years of experience as a Heavy Duty or Diesel Technician (refuse truck experience preferred).
Strong knowledge of diesel engines hydraulics brakes and electrical systems.
Ability to read and interpret diagnostic reports and repair manuals.
Must have own basic tools; advanced tools and equipment provided.
Reliable safety-conscious and detail-oriented.
