Estate Planning and Probate Legal Assistant Role
Prepare and revise legal documents including wills trusts tax forms (706s 709s) and asset lists.
Draft edit and proofread correspondence legal memoranda and other communications.
Transcribe dictation from voicemails and other sources accurately.
Manage incoming and outgoing mail and electronic correspondence.
Answer and direct incoming phone calls respond to general inquiries.
Schedule and coordinate conference calls client meetings and appointments.
Maintain attorney calendars track deadlines and manage multiple schedules.
Open organize and maintain client files ensuring proper filing procedures.
Review and process monthly billing memos and enter attorney time records.
Arrange travel and business itineraries as needed.
Communicate professionally with clients and internal staff at all levels.
E-file documents in federal and state courts as required.
