Flexi MFB is seeking a skilled Chinese Translator to support effective communication between Chinese-speaking stakeholders and internal teams. The role will provide accurate MandarinEnglish translation and interpretation across business meetings documentation and strategic engagements ensuring clarity cultural alignment and business accuracy in a fast-paced fintech environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide real-time verbal interpretation (Mandarin - English) during meetings calls and executive engagements.
- Translate written materials including business documents contracts emails presentations and reports.
- Support senior leadership and cross-functional teams in engagements with Chinese partners.
- Act as a cultural and communication bridge to minimize misunderstandings and improve collaboration.
- Review and proofread translated content for accuracy tone and consistency.
- Maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive business information.
- Bachelors degree in Languages Chinese Studies Linguistics or a related field.
- 3 years experience as a professional Chinese Translator or Interpreter.
- Fluency in Mandarin Chinese and English (spoken and written).
- Strong understanding of business and professional terminology.
- Excellent communication skills attention to detail and professionalism.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple translation requests.
- HSK Level 5 or 6 certification.
- Experience in fintech finance technology or multinational organizations.
- Exposure to ChinaAfrica business environments.
- Work in a high-growth fintech with international exposure.
