Frontier Economicsis an economics consultancy that tackles the big questions facing governments businesses and society. The company has grown rapidly since it was founded almost 27 years ago and currently has around 500 staff working across nine European offices (Amsterdam Berlin Brussels Cologne Dublin London Madrid Paris and Prague). As Internal Communications Manager youll own how information flows across the firm. Helping our people understand strategic decisions operational priorities and what they mean in practice. This is an exciting opportunity for someone to shape the internal communications going forwards.

About the role

Reporting into the Governance & Strategic Operations team youll own and deliver Frontiers internal communications strategy.

Youll work closely with senior leaders and colleagues across the firm to:

  • Set a clear predictable communication rhythm

  • Translate complex decisions into clear relevant messages

  • Strengthen trust transparency and alignment across offices and practices

This role combines strategic thinking editorial judgement and hands-on delivery.

What youll be doing

Setting the strategy and rhythm

  • Developing and delivering a firmwide internal communications plan aligned to strategy and operations

  • Establishing a clear annual communication rhythm linked to governance and business cycles

  • Helping senior leaders plan agendas and key messages for all-firm meetings

  • Translating strategic decisions into messages that land clearly with different audiences

Editorial leadership

  • Acting as editorial lead for all-firm communications setting standards for tone clarity and consistency

  • Writing editing and shaping content across channels from leadership updates to practice and people stories

  • Supporting leaders and colleagues to communicate clearly and naturally without jargon or over-engineering

  • Maintaining a forward-looking communications calendar to avoid overload and duplication

Channels and platforms

  • Owning the purpose and effective use of internal channels (intranet newsletters emails digital screens and events)

  • Working with IT to improve platforms with a focus on usability and relevance

  • Monitoring engagement and using insight to refine content timing and channel mix

Delivery change and collaboration

  • Partnering with Business Management Teams on clear timely operational communications

  • Supporting major change programmes with thoughtful well-sequenced communication plans

  • Advising on how sensitive or time-critical messages are framed and delivered

  • Working closely with Practice Managers and the Clients Team to ensure alignment between internal and external messaging

  • Building a strong network of contacts across practices and offices to support two-way communication
