Job Summary
Salary range: $31.25-$42/ per hour depending on years of experience $5K Sign-On Bonus for Fulltime LPNS
Centurion is proud to be the provider ofcomprehensive services to the Maryland Department of Public Safety and Correctional Services. We are currently seeking a Full-time Night Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at Western Correctional Institutionlocated in Cumberland Maryland.
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) (Medical) is responsible for providing holistic nursing care within the appropriate scope of practice to incarcerated patients while working under the direction of Registered Nurses (RN) and medical and psychiatric staff to respond to a range of physical and behavioral health needs.
Available Shifts:
- Three 12-hour shifts per week (36 hours total) with rotating weekends.
Qualifications
- Licensed LPN with an active license to practice in Maryland
- Minimum of one year of work experience as an LPN in a community outpatient clinic hospital or long-term care facility preferred
- Corrections experience preferred
- Must be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)/ BLS
- Ability to obtain a security clearance to include drug screen and criminal background check
