This position requires access to controlled technology as defined in the Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. 730 et seq.). Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to access such controlled technology prior to beginning work. Your Assignment:

The Research department is looking for a motivated Materials engineering research intern to work on solving challenges for current materials and tribological issues and contributing to solutions for the next generation modules for our EUV with a multi-disciplinary team you will work on the design analysis and testing of next generation materials solutions in a challenging expertise combined with strong analytical skills and a creative problem solving mindset will generate new ideas and concepts at the very forefront of technology development. You will influence the design of modules and their performance levels from specification to design.

Your Profile:

• Education: Pursuing a University Master or Materials Science chemistry or similar engineering field.
  Broad knowledge of materials science and tribology.
  Designing and performing verification experiments and qualifications.
  Translating multidisciplinary insights in proposals for prototype designs.
  Experience with Matlab Ansys COMSOL a plus.

  Experience with machine learning a plus.

Role within Office

Responsibilities:

• Routinely required to sit; walk; talk; hear; use hands to keyboard finger handle and feel; stoop kneel crouch twist reach and stretch. Occasionally required to move around the campus.

• Occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.

• May require travel dependent on business needs.
