What youll do:
- Steward the churchs resources with integrity and transparency
- Maintain accurate accounting records prepare financial reports and ensure compliance with internal policies and applicable regulations
- Maintain general ledger and reconcile accounts
- Process accounts payable/receivable and contributions
- Assist with audits and compliance
- Support ministry teams with financial guidance
Skills & Experience youve had:
- Bachelors degree in Accounting required and 1 years of accounting experience preferred in nonprofit or church settings
- Proficiency in accounting software (Sage Intacct Excel or similar)
- Understanding of GAAP and nonprofit accounting principles
- Excellent attention to detail organization skills and confidentiality
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a faith-based environment
