The Position:
Reporting to the Telemarketing Team Leader you will responsible for assisting in leading the sales team. The team has 9 12 telemarketing representatives and the key focus of the role is to lead coach and develop them ensure that targets are achieved in a compliant manner. You will be expected to support the team as well as maintain your own targets. A clear understanding of managing or coaching an inbound team is vital.
Main Duties / Responsibilities
- To deputise in managers absence.
- Dealing with call audit issues feeding back to team members
- Coaching and sharing best practice amongst the team.
- Lead team meetings
- Compiling reports.
- Sending sales updates.
- Addressing system issues.
- Liaising with key stakeholders e.g. IT Underwriting Actuaries
- Assisting with training of new staff.
- Identify potential improvements and make recommendations to management
- Actively support all team members and provide assistance to enable all operational goals to be achieved.
Skills / Experience
- Proven track record of meeting/exceeding ANP target
- Strong customer focus with ability to identify and solve problems
- Strong interpersonal skills with excellent written and verbal communication
- Ability to exercise judgement
- Ability to organise prioritise and manage workflow to meet individual and team requirements
- The ability to work well in a team environment
- Basic system navigation and Microsoft application skills
- Good keyboard skills
- Regulatory awareness
- Preferable experience of an advised sales process
- A self starter with the ability to work under own initiative and be proactive
