Job Description

We are looking for a Senior UX Designer who has at least 5 years experience who would like to join our design team in Uxbridge UK. You will be joining an awesome design team that is currently 5 people strong. It includes 2 UX designers 1 UX researcher 2 Visual designers with one head of design. You will get the opportunity to work alongside some highly experienced industry professionals in a small but fast growing team working closely with VD designers and engineers to follow up on the complete design process. You will be given the opportunity to become responsible for designing and developing a key part of the product from day one. As a senior designer you will need to manage and prioritize workload in fast pace work environment.

It is important that you master a wide range of design tools and techniques and that youre able to develop wireframes interactive prototypes as well as manage and develop our current design library and processes. Even though youre not expected to be a graphic designer it is an advantage if you have a solid understanding of layout compositions colors and typography to be able to deliver designs of high graphical quality that tell stories clearly.

You must be able to understand structure and convey complex information in an easily understandable and user-friendly way. Its also an advantage if you have some experience with Figma Make Adobe suite and such to create interactive prototypes educational videos and more. Know how to use AI tools available to most designers today. However whats most important is that youre passionate about creating great user experiences on screen.

Portfolio and Experience:

• A strong portfolio showcasing relevant visual design work (both individual and collaborative) demonstrating skills and experience through case studies.

• Sufficient experience to be considered a senior UX designer (5 years experience)

Basic Requirements

Desirable experience and skills

• Masters degree in interaction design UX design or other equivalent subjects..

• Experience in designing Web iOS and Android interfaces.

• Mastery of complex site mapping user flows and data organization especially for enterprise or data-heavy applications.

• Advanced wireframing and prototype skills. (Figma Sketch Invision Illustration etc)

• Knowledge of partnering with cross-functional teams including product managers engineers UX researchers and marketers.

• Able to translate complex user insights into actionable design solutions that deliver measurable value to our customers. With the help of AI as a tool in your design process not just the end-product for which you are designing.

• Elevate design craft and champion user-centered design principles throughout the product development lifecycle.

• Able to take a feature or product from initial discovery and research through to high-fidelity flows to hand-off to the Visual design team.

• The ability to present to and influence non-design stakeholders (CEOs Engineering Leads Marketing) and manage them properly. This includes selling a design vision and negotiating trade-offs.

• Seniors are expected to take vague messy problems and create structure and clarity.
