Position Overview:

Greenlife Healthcare Staffing is seeking a compassionate and skilled Licensed Practical Nurse Pediatric Behavioral Health Unit to join aHealthcare Facility (Acute Care / Academic Medical Center) located in Syracuse NY. The ideal candidate will provide specialized nursing care to children and adolescents with behavioral health needs supporting their treatment and recovery in a safe therapeutic environment.

Qualifications:

Education: Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program.
Licensure: Current New York State LPN license; CPR certification (or ability to obtain/re-certify).
Experience: Minimum 1 year of LPN experience; psychiatric experience required; inpatient experience preferred.
Technical Skills: Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) strongly preferred
Soft Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to work effectively with patients families and healthcare team members

Key Responsibilities:

Provide direct nursing care to pediatric behavioral health patients.
Administer medications monitor patient safety and behavior document patient progress.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary treatment team implement therapeutic interventions and support patient and family education.
