A global technology company is seeking an experienced Director of Logistics to lead and oversee the companys worldwide logistics operations.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage global import and export operations ensuring compliance with international trade regulations.
- Oversee a large logistics workforce including several dozen employees across diverse logistics functions.
- Develop and implement strategies for operational excellence scalability and efficiency in logistics processes.
- Establish and maintain KPIs to monitor service levels costs and performance.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize supply chain and logistics flows.
- Manage relationships with global freight forwarders shipping lines customs brokers and other logistics partners.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Operations Manufacturing Supply Chain Finance and Sales) to ensure alignment and smooth product flow.
- Ensure adherence to compliance safety and quality standards in all logistics operations.
- Lead large-scale projects to support business growth including process automation and system implementations.
- Provide strategic direction while maintaining hands-on oversight of day-to-day logistics challenges.
- Develop mentor and retain top talent within the logistics organization building strong leadership pipelines.

Requirements:
- Bachelors degree required; Masters degree an advantage.
- Extensive experience in logistics and supply chain management with proven success in a global environment.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire large teams including managers and frontline logistics staff.
- Strong knowledge of import/export processes customs regulations and international trade compliance.
- Experience negotiating and managing relationships with logistics service providers and vendors.
- Strategic mindset with the ability to translate business needs into operational execution.
- Track record of driving operational efficiency and cost optimization initiatives.
- Excellent problem-solving analytical and decision-making skills.
- Strong project management skills including experience with system implementations or process automation.
- Effective communication and stakeholder management abilities across global teams.
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic fast-paced and high-growth business environment.
