We are seeking a committed and creative Head of Drama to provide strong leadership for the department inspire high-quality teaching and learning and promote Drama as a vibrant and valued subject across the school. The successful candidate will combine excellent subject knowledge with the ability to motivate students and support colleagues to achieve outstanding outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage the Drama department ensuring high standards of teaching and learning.
Develop and implement an engaging ambitious Drama curriculum across KS3KS4 (and KS5 where applicable).
Support mentor and inspire colleagues within the department.
Monitor student progress assessment and outcomes to drive continuous improvement.
Promote extracurricular Drama activities including productions and performances.
Contribute to the wider life culture and leadership of the school.

Essential Requirements
A degree in Drama or a related subject.
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or PGCE.
Proven experience teaching Drama at secondary level.
Evidence of leadership or readiness to step into a middle leadership role.
A passion for Drama and a commitment to student success.
