English Department:
The English department is a successful and well-established team delivering an ambitious and engaging curriculum across KS3 KS4 and KS5. As Head of English you will lead curriculum design assessment strategy and departmental development ensuring consistently high-quality teaching and learning. You will also play a key role in mentoring staff and contributing to whole-school literacy initiatives and enrichment activities.
Requirements
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a degree in English or a related subject
Significant experience teaching English at secondary level
Leadership experience or strong potential for middle leadership
Excellent subject knowledge across Language and Literature
Strong leadership communication and organisational skills
Commitment to academic excellence and inclusive education
