Science Department:
The Science department is a large well-equipped faculty with modern laboratories and a collaborative teaching team. As Head of Science you will be responsible for strategic planning curriculum development across Biology Chemistry and Physics and ensuring strong outcomes at GCSE and A Level. You will lead departmental improvement support staff development and maintain high standards of teaching and learning.
Requirements
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a degree in a Science discipline
Experience teaching Science at secondary level
Proven leadership experience or readiness to lead a department
Strong understanding of GCSE and A Level Science specifications
Excellent leadership organisational and interpersonal skills
Commitment to student achievement and staff development
