The Opportunity
We are currently recruiting for a proactive and detail-oriented Scheduler to join a busy and fast-paced team at the manufacturing company. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong organizational skills and experience in scheduling or order tracking ideally using Excel.
This is an initial contract position with a very strong opportunity to transition into a permanent role for the right candidate. Youll play a key part in keeping day-to-day operations running smoothly by managing and tracking active orders at any given time.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and update scheduling spreadsheets in Excel for live orders.
- Track order progress and flag any delays or potential issues.
- Communicate with internal teams and possibly external partners to ensure timely delivery.
- Keep accurate and up-to-date records of timelines changes and priorities.
- Assist in improving scheduling and tracking processes where applicable.
What you Need
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
- Previous experience in a scheduling planning logistics or order management role within production or manufacturing space.
- High attention to detail and ability to work with large volumes of data/orders.
- Strong communication skills and a proactive attitude.
