IMMEDIATE NEED: Building Maintenance Technician
Pay Rate: $27-29 per hour
On-site Position-Raleigh NC

What This Role Involves
The Maintenance Technician performs inspections maintenance and repairs on mechanical electrical and plumbing systems. This position works independently and alongside Engineers to ensure facilities operate efficiently and tenants receive timely support.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on mechanical electrical and plumbing systems
Conduct facility inspections and report conditions impacting building operations and occupancy
Complete general interior maintenance (hanging pictures installing keyboard trays repairing office furniture doors etc.)
Replace lighting components and ballasts; clean HVAC coils; change filters and belts
Move office furniture machinery equipment and materials as requested
Update work orders in real time using CMMS systems (Corrigo preferred)
Complete hazard assessments and maintain compliance with safety procedures and local codes
Physical Demands & Work Environment
Ability to lift up to 80 lbs
Ability to climb ladders up to 30 ft
Frequent climbing bending kneeling lifting and driving
Work in both indoor and outdoor environments
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or GED
46 years of experience in general building maintenance and repair
Working knowledge of basic plumbing and electrical systems
Proven ability to perform inspections maintenance and repairs
Strong customer service and communication skills
Ability to complete required safety training and follow safety procedures
Preferred Qualifications
Third-party certification in building trades
Coursework or technical training in building trades
EPA Universal Refrigerant Certification
Experience using CMMS systems (Corrigo preferred)
Knowledge of State County or City building codes and regulations
Experience in commercial real estate or property management environments
