Job Summary
IMMEDIATE NEED: Buillding Maintenance Technician 1
Location: Ashland OH
Pay Rate: $20$22 per hour
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to support facility operations immediately. This role is critical to maintaining building systems safety and tenant satisfaction. If you have hands-on maintenance experience and can work independently or with engineering teams apply today.
Key Responsibilities
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on mechanical electrical and plumbing systems
Conduct facility inspections and report conditions affecting building operations
Complete general interior maintenance (doors furniture fixtures installations)
Replace lighting and ballasts; clean HVAC coils; change filters and belts
Move furniture equipment and materials as needed
Update work orders in real time using CMMS systems (Corrigo preferred)
Complete hazard assessments and follow safety procedures and local codes
Physical Requirements
Lift up to 80 lbs
Climb ladders up to 30 ft
Frequent bending kneeling climbing lifting and driving
Work in indoor and outdoor environments
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or GED
24 years of experience in general building maintenance
Basic plumbing and electrical knowledge
Proven maintenance and repair skills
Strong customer service and communication abilities
Ability to complete safety training and follow safety procedures
Preferred Qualifications
Third-party building trades certification
Coursework in building trades
EPA Universal Refrigerant Certification
CMMS experience (Corrigo preferred)
Knowledge of local building codes
Experience in commercial or property management environments
