What you will do:

Your mission will be to lead the FX team to create dynamic effects.

Develop and maintain the FX pipeline creating tools and HDAs in Houdini to streamline the teams workflow.
Interpret the Directors vision and translate it into actionable tasks for the FX team ensuring visual consistency.
Guide and support the team fostering a culture of continuous learning and technical excellence.
Ensure all FX are optimized for the lighting and rendering stages maintaining a balance between visual complexity and render times.
Calibrate the artistic quality of each shot according to the budget calculate bids and ensure perfect optimization for rendering

What we are looking for

Extensive experience in high-end animation or VFX with a deep mastery of Houdini (Vex Python and HDA creation).
Proven ability to lead teams manage deadlines and provide constructive clear feedback.
A methodical approach to problem-solving and pipeline architecture.
Excellent interpersonal skills to bridge the gap between technical departments and creative directors.
Advanced English is required for this leadership role.
