Job Summary
About Client: Leading Pharma company having multiple formulation plants having global presence
Position: Compression Operator / Executive – Tablet Manufacturing
Location: Vizag
Department: Production / Manufacturing
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor Sejong / Fette compression machines for tablet manufacturing.
- Ensure compliance with cGMP SOPs and safety protocols during operations.
- Perform machine setup changeover calibration and troubleshooting.
- Conduct in-process checks (weight hardness thickness friability) to maintain product quality.
- Maintain accurate batch records logbooks and equipment usage reports.
- Coordinate with QA/QC for line clearance and in-process validations.
- Support preventive maintenance and liaise with engineering for breakdown resolution.
- Train junior operators and ensure adherence to best practices.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Qualification: Diploma / . / / .
- Experience: 2–8 years in tablet compression specifically on Sejong / Fette machines.
- Strong knowledge of pharma manufacturing processes documentation and regulatory requirements.
- Ability to work in regulated environments (USFDA MHRA EU GMP WHO GMP).
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Willingness to work in shifts and handle production targets.
Key Skills
- Hands-on expertise with Sejong / Fette compression machines.
- Knowledge of granulation blending and tablet compression processes.
- Understanding of in-process quality control (IPQC).
- Familiarity with SOPs batch records and regulatory audits.
- Problem-solving and machine troubleshooting ability.
