About this role
The Tenancy Manager is responsible for managing a portfolio of Comcare tenancies including Housing First properties and short- or long-term homes leased or owned by Comcare. You will build strong relationships with tenants and ensure all tenancy responsibilities are met while supporting wellbeing and long-term housing stability.
What youll be doing
- Managing all aspects of tenancy relationships including letting rent monitoring inspections maintenance and issue resolution.
- Using problem solving and sound judgement to support sustainable tenancies.
- Ensuring all practice complies with the Residential Tenancies Act and relevant legislation.
- Working in partnership with clients and whānau to provide culturally responsive support that reduces inequities.
About you
- To be successful in this role you will preferably have:
- Experienced in tenancy management with solid knowledge of the Residential Tenancies Act.
- Confident communicator who delivers excellent service and handles conflict with ease.
- Strong problem solver who builds great relationships with tenants and stakeholders.
- Organised proactive and able to adapt in a busy environment.
- Full NZ drivers licence.
- Mental health or social services experience.
- Culturally aware and committed to upholding Te Tiriti o Waitangi.
Eligibility
