Arts and Design Teachers Secondary

Good Shepherd Lutheran College is a co-educational non-government school for ELC to Year 12 students. It has three campuses across Darwin: Howard Springs Palmerston and Leanyer.

Applications are sought for suitably qualified and experienced Secondary Teachers to join our Arts and Design teams at the Howard Springs Middle/Senior campus on a permanent fulltime basis with experience in the following subject areas:

• Visual Arts

• Digital Art

• Digital Technology

Our Secondary Teachers are committed and contribute to the shaping of curriculum pedagogy and pathways that enable students to fulfil their potential for intellectual emotional physical spiritual and psychological growth. They are outstanding educators who develop academic curriculum for diverse pathways that will result in students achieving academic success. The ideal candidate will have experience teaching Arts and Design along with a strong understanding of the relevant curriculum areas. They will demonstrate the ability to work both independently and collaboratively to develop implement and monitor effective learning programs. A genuine passion for these subject areas is highly valued.

A willingness to teach additional subjects is advantageous but not essential for this role.
