Job Summary

Summary:

The Delivery Officer plays a critical role in ensuring the seamless execution of daily delivery and logistics operations at the assigned location. Responsible for overseeing vehicle dispatch fleet coordination and end-to-end delivery performance this role ensures adherence to safety quality and operational standards while driving efficiency and customer satisfaction. The officer serves as a key link between internal teams and external transport partners maintaining strict compliance with SHEQ and statutory regulations. By optimizing routes managing driver performance and resolving delivery issues promptly the Delivery Officer contributes directly to meeting KPIs minimizing delays and supporting overall supply chain reliability.

Responsibilities:

Oversee daily delivery shift operations and plan vehicle movements to ensure timely dispatch
Enforce compliance with safety SHEQ and statutory requirements across all delivery activities
Coordinate tanker and truck dispatch according to schedule ensuring zero stock-outs
Monitor real-time vehicle movement trip completion documentation accuracy and delivery volume tracking
Lead driver management including safety briefings onboarding training and ongoing compliance monitoring
Collaborate with Production Sales and Scheduling teams to align delivery plans with demand forecasts
Drive continuous improvement in delivery efficiency route optimization and cost management
Manage third-party contractors maintain fleet availability and resolve basic customer delivery concerns

Requirements

Requirements:

Graduate in Logistics Supply Chain or a related field (preferred)
3 years of hands-on experience in logistics or delivery operations
Demonstrated knowledge of safety protocols fleet management and regulatory compliance
Excellent coordination communication and problem-solving abilities
Proficient in MS Office and experience using ERP or logistics management systems
