Job Summary
The Mechanical Engineer is responsible for planning supervising and executing mechanical works to ensure compliance with project specifications quality standards safety regulations and project timelines. The role involves coordination with multidisciplinary teams and hands-on engineering support.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise mechanical installation works including HVAC piping pumps firefighting plumbing and equipment installation (as applicable).
Review and interpret mechanical drawings specifications and BOQs.
Coordinate with consultants clients and subcontractors for approvals and execution.
Monitor site progress manpower and materials to meet project schedules.
Ensure quality control through inspections and adherence to standards.
Assist in testing commissioning and handover of mechanical systems.
Prepare technical reports method statements and progress documentation.
Ensure compliance with safety procedures and permit-to-work systems.

Qualifications
Experience
Minimum 38 years of relevant experience (depending on project).
Experience in construction MEP industrial plants or oil & gas projects preferred.
GCC experience is an advantage.
