Key Responsibilities
1. Marketing Strategy & Brand Management
Develop and implement the overall marketing strategy aligned with Lean Energy Kenyas business objectives.
Build and strengthen the company brand across B2B industrial and institutional markets.
Ensure consistent brand messaging across all marketing channels and materials.
Conduct market research to identify industry trends customer needs and competitive positioning.
2. Lead Generation & Business Support
Design and execute lead generation campaigns to support sales and business development teams.
Work closely with sales and technical teams to develop sector-specific marketing campaigns.
Support tender marketing proposals and capability statements where required.
Track marketing-qualified leads (MQLs) and support conversion to sales opportunities.
3. Digital & Content Marketing
Manage digital marketing activities including website content SEO email marketing and social media.
Develop technical and commercial content such as case studies brochures presentations and thought leadership articles.
Oversee external agencies for digital marketing design and media buying where applicable.
Monitor and report on digital performance metrics and ROI.
4. Corporate Communications & PR
Manage corporate communications announcements and public relations initiatives.
Coordinate participation in industry events exhibitions conferences and stakeholder forums.
Support internal communications and employer branding initiatives.
Maintain relationships with the media industry bodies and strategic partners.
5. Marketing Operations Budget & Reporting
Develop and manage the marketing budget and ensure cost-effective execution.
Track marketing KPIs and prepare regular performance reports.
Ensure compliance with company policies and brand guidelines.
Continuously improve marketing processes and tools to enhance efficiency and impact.

Qualifications & Experience
Academic Qualifications
Experience
Minimum of 36years marketing experience preferably in energy engineering industrial utilities or B2B sectors.
Proven experience developing and executing marketing strategies that support revenue growth.
Experience working closely with sales and technical teams.
Exposure to tender-driven or project-based environments is an added advantage.
