About the Role
Bakers Delight Port Macquarie is seeking an experienced and reliable Baker to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual who takes pride in producing high-quality baked goods and enjoys working in a fast-paced bakery environment.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare mix shape and bake a wide range of bread and bakery products
Operate ovens mixers and baking equipment safely and efficiently
Follow production schedules to meet daily demand
Maintain consistent product quality presentation and taste
Ensure food safety hygiene and cleanliness standards are met at all times
Assist with stock control and ingredient preparation
Work collaboratively with team members to meet business needs
Requirements
Relevant qualification in Baking or Patisserie (Certificate III or higher preferred)
Minimum 2 years experience in a commercial bakery environment
Strong understanding of dough fermentation and baking techniques
Ability to work early mornings weekends and public holidays
Good time management and attention to detail
Reliable hardworking and able to work independently or as part of a team
