Job Summary
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Reporting to the Engineering Manager the candidate will assume sole responsibility for preparing EPIC cost estimates and developing detailed scope of work (SOW) documents.
- The ideal candidate will support project planning and execution by providing accurate cost forecasts cost estimation for Projects resource requirements and technical documentation aligned with international engineering standards.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- Professional Degree in Engineering.
- 10 yrs with major contractors or consultants.
COST ESTIMATION
- Prepare comprehensive cost estimates for EPIC projects including engineering procurement installation and commissioning phases aligned with FEED and detailed engineering and design based on the design basis project specifications client requirements procedures and relevant design codes and standards.
- Analyze project specifications drawings and technical documents to determine material labor equipment and subcontracting costs.
- Develop cost breakdown structures (CBS) and align estimates with Work Breakdown Structures (WBS).
- Benchmark estimates against historical data industry standards and vendor quotations.
