Southland Organics is seeking a dedicated Live Chat Support Specialist to join our Environmental Services this role you will be the first point of contact for customers seeking information about our sustainable solutions and organic waste management services. Your ability to deliver prompt clear and helpful responses will play a vital role in enhancing customer satisfaction and supporting our mission to promote environmentally responsible practices.
Key Objectives
- Provide timely and accurate assistance to customers via live chat addressing inquiries related to our environmental services.
- Support customers in navigating our offerings and resolving issues to ensure a seamless experience.
- Collaborate with internal teams to escalate and resolve complex concerns efficiently.
- Contribute to continuous improvement by sharing customer feedback and insights.
Responsibilities
- Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries through live chat platforms.
- Assist customers with questions about Southland Organics services including organic waste collection recycling programs and sustainability initiatives.
- Document and track customer interactions accurately in the CRM system.
- Identify customer needs and provide appropriate solutions or escalate when necessary.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of company services policies and environmental regulations.
- Work closely with the Environmental Services and Operations teams to ensure consistent and accurate information delivery.
- Contribute ideas to improve the overall customer support process and experience.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelors degree preferred.
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in customer service or live chat support preferably within environmental services or related industries.
- Excellent written communication skills with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple chat conversations efficiently.
- Familiarity with CRM software and live chat tools.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a customer-centric mindset.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with a collaborative team approach.
