Job Summary
New England Mechanical Services is currently seekinganHVACTechnician withaD2 or S2licensetomaintaintrouble shootrepairandoperatecommercial HVAC systems fora customer in theSouthingtonarea.This positionisin-houseand the hours areMonday through Friday from 7:00a.m.to 3:30 p.m.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Includebut not limited to the following.
Keep trade licenses and certifications current. Follow andcomply withthe rules and regulations of section 608 of the clean air act and occupational safety regulations mandated by federalstateand local governments.
Attend all safety training provided and/or sponsored by NEMSI
Follow all NEMSI safety policies procedures and use personal protective equipment when performing installation and/or servicing HVAC systems.
Interact with the client in a professional and courteous manner whilemaintaininga clean and neat appearance.
Flexible to work overtime andweekendsas demand requires
Other duties may be assigned.
Qualifications
- ConnecticutD2 orS2 license.
- Extensivecommercial HVAC systems experience.
- Must have aclean driving record
- Boiler and steam experience a plus
Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this Job the employee is regularly required to walk; use hands to finger handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop kneel crouch or crawl; talk hear smell and lift set-up and climb ladders as well as stairways. The employee isfrequentlyrequired to stand and occasionally sit. The employee must regularly lift and /or move various weight ranges such as 0-50 lbs.frequently 51-100 lbs. occasionally and 101 plus seldom. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision distance vision color vision peripheral vision depthperceptionand ability to adjust focus. Maintain a neat and clean appearance andutilizeall protective equipment provided and as.
