Your Impact
As an IT Systems Administrator you will play a key role in keeping our critical systems running smoothly. Youll support end users maintain and evolve infrastructure and ensure our technology supports the safe and reliable delivery of advanced medical devices. This role combines handson support system administration and project involvement in a highly regulated and impactful industry.
What Youll Do
- Act as a key point of contact for IT systems administration including Level 1 and Level 2 support following Abbott IT standards.
- Provide enduser support to ensure smooth daily operations for our onsite teams.
- Install configure test and upgrade software hardware and infrastructure in line with project plans.
- Participate in disaster recovery planning and testing to ensure business continuity.
- Troubleshoot and isolate issues across the network environment (LAN WLAN physical infrastructure).
- Support system security planning and compliance activities.
- Maintain and administer IT assets to ensure accurate tracking and lifecycle management.
- Deliver clear timely reporting to IT Management on systems status support activity and ongoing projects.
What You Bring
- Bachelors degree or technical degree in Computer Science Information Systems or related field or equivalent handson experience.
- 24 years of experience in IT systems or technical support roles within a corporate or industrial environment.
- Solid understanding of core IT hardware software troubleshooting methods and network components.
- A solutionsoriented mindset with strong communication skills and a collaborative approach.
- A desire to grow your skills in a highimpact highly regulated missiondriven environment.
