About the Role
TheLTC Education Summer Student will support the Quality Assurance Manager in the Long-Term Care Division.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
Administration:
Assist with the collection and organization of data
Organize documents related to Quality Improvement initiatives and programs
Education:
Assist with the development of educational resources
Create edit and design content using PowerPoint and Learning Management Systems
Film and photograph content for education resources
Engagement:
Distribute and complete surveys for Elders and Families
General:
Incumbents must keep up-to-date on all relevant legislation collective bargaining agreements County Policies and Procedures etc. ensuring that these are implemented as prescribed
Incumbents must possess the physical ability to meet the duties and responsibilities of the job description and/or the requirements identified within the positions Physical Demands Analysis.

What We Are Looking For
Minimum Formal Education
Completion of one year of post secondary education related to Gerontology Quality Improvement or related study
Experience
Proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint
Experience working in Microsoft Office (Excel Word etc.) as well as other electronic databases would be an asset
Must be well disposed to working with Elders and working as part of a team
