About the role:
Join a growing Employment team in Melbourne and work across contentious and non-contentious matters. You will be responsible for:
- Advising on employment and industrial relations matters across a broad employer base.
- Running complex and high-stakes disputes including:
- Restraints litigation
- General protections claims
- Discrimination matters
- Unfair dismissal claims
- Drafting high-quality advices pleadings and other employment documentation.
The ideal candidate:
- 5 years post-admission experience in employment and industrial relations.
- Background from a large national or international firm or a specialist employment practice.
- Strong technical ability commercial judgment and crisp drafting skills.
- Confident client-facing communication (written and verbal).
- Proven ability to prioritise manage competing deadlines and run matters autonomously.
- A collaborative style with a proactive team-first approach.
