We are currently looking for a motivated Risk and Assurance Officer to join our team in Brno and support our growing business. This role is ideal for an early-careers candidate looking to start a career in Risk and offers excellent growth and development opportunities.
Responsibilities
The Risk and Assurance Officer is required to support application of the Risk Management framework for Asset Servicing as well as the Outsourcing Governance Framework for the EU DAC entity. He/she ensures effective and timely management of Risk Events production and reporting of Management Information at an agreed frequency. The successful candidate will work closely with Risk and Assurance team members and the Risk and Assurance Team Manager.
This role has the following key areas of responsibility including but not limited to:
Working across the business to ensure timely and accurate recording and reporting of Risk Events
The production of Management Information
Root Cause and analysis along with working with the business to improve the control environment to reduce the volume of Risk Events
Deliver client reporting at an agreed frequency on time and accurately
Participation in the Risk Assessment process
Attending client meeting and discussing Risk Events themes and trends
Identifying efficiencies and improvements in the process related to quality and timeliness
Supporting the RCSA process across Asset Servicing
Other areas of the Risk Control & Governance Framework as required e.g. business continuity policies and standards.
Requirements
University degree or equivalent
Strong Excel knowledge with experience of advanced functions and data analysis
The ability to work accurately and to deadlines
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Strong attention to detail
Working knowledge of risk management processes tools and theory is an advantage
Experience of both front and back-office investment operations functions is an advantage
Ability to build and maintain effective internal and external relationships
Ability to analyse present and report information in a clear and concise manner
Be able to understand complex edicts regulation guidelines and financial legislation
