Description

Vertivs plant in Letterkenny Ireland create a total critical infrastructure solution with building blocks of equipment or systems that are designed to work together to meet our clients unique needs. Their Project Engineering team are hiring a CSA Engineer someone with a passion for construction to join the team.

POSITION SUMMARY

  • CSA Responsible for customized solutions for two main business sectors: Data Centers and Telecom. Designing and developing modular buildings for customized solutions in accordance with highest standards and demanding requests. Integration with other disciplines; mechanical electrical fire protection. Focus on general design concepts calculation etc.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Manufacturing documents for factory integration:
    1. Cutting lists for module: plywood OSB gypsum boards (Cetris and Promat) PVC ceiling steel sheets wall and

roof panels external floor steel sheets

  1. Installation documents for secondary steel constructions: canopies subracks flashings consoles and supports hot aisle containments wire mesh walls gutters etc.
  2. Layouts and detailed design for raised floors.
  3. Typical details for: penetrations module connections sealing (fire and waterproof) etc.
  4. Workshop documents for secondary steel constructions and sheet metal parts:
    1. Canopies subracks flashings consoles and supports hot aisle containments wire mesh walls gutters etc.
    2. All sheet metal parts needed for equipment integration.
  5. Workshop drawings and technical specification for module steel construction (in rare cases)
  6. Adding secondary missing equipment in Revit model:
    1. Secondary steel constructions: subracks canopies flashings ventilation louvres hot aisle containments wire mesh walls protective covers
  7. Creating Bill of materials for factory integration:
    1. All installation material needed for integration: mineral wool gypsum and plywood boards bolts nuts screws panels sealants steel sheet parts and secondary steel constructions adhesives fire barriers vinyl floor raised floors etc.
  8. FAT procedure:
    1. Only for L1.3. (functional testing)
  9. AsBuilt documents
    1. In accordance with project documents list
    2. Updated structural and architectural from CD set.
  10. MoP (Method of procedure)
    1. Document needed for assembly datacenter on site.
    2. Does not include tools manhours and workforce (this is described in Method of Statement document which is responsibility of site contractor)
    3. MoP is basis for Method statement.
  11. Product Catalogue
    1. Datasheets of all equipment/material installed in Datacenter / PM.
  12. Engineering support to testing team and subcontractors during factory integration.
  13. Collaboration with local service and with the company operations team (project management manufacturing testing team) in defining a project integration strategy and executing the project.
  14. Participating in weekly coordination with FPM (factory project management)
  15. Participating in L1.1 FAT (witness test and testing at supplier factory for LOB equipment)
  16. Engineering support to commissioning team during site integration

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor or masters in mechanical engineering Structural Engineering or Architectural

PHYSICAL & ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS

  • Please list all physical and environmental demands that may performed on a regular basis.
  • Required experience: 1+ years on similar positions.
  • Active user of: Windows MS Office incl. Excel (A) Word (A) PowerPoint (A) AutoCAD;
  • Proficient modeling skills required preferred: Revit Inventor Solidworks;
  • English language independent user (level B2)
  • Technical/practical skills: analytical organizational meticulous
